- 1 cup Chickpea Flour
- 2 tbsp Semolina Flour (optionally use 2 tbsp Rice flour)
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbsp Prana Kitchens Samedha Mukhvas
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger grated
- 1 green chili finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 red bell pepper finely chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 tbsp neutral oil like Olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup of water
- Oil to spray on waffle iron
- Preheat the waffle iron
- Add the chopped vegetables, shredded ginger, green chili & cilantro to a bowl
- Add chickpea flour, semolina four, baking soda, salt & turmeric powder to the bowl and stir
- Add salt, oil, water and mix well until well combined.
- Stir in Prana Kitchens Samedha Mukhvas and add tbsps of water as needed to get a thick waffle batter.
- Spray oil on the hot waffle tray before spreading the batter
- Cook until golden brown and crisp (about 5-7 mts per waffle)
- Serve hot with salsa, chutneys or a favorite dip
- The batter can also be used to make pancakes.
